Catalyst Crime presenta un nuevo episodio en su joven carrera, una canción cinematográfica, oscura y compleja. Hablamos de la canción (que da nombre a su nuevo álbum) ACQUIRED INMUNITY una pieza de 05:28 minutos que son un viaje sonoro con detalles increíbles. 

El inició de la canción es un arreglo orquestal y con tintes orientales muy bien trabajados, anteriormente la banda ya había presentado arreglos así en su primer Ã¡lbum, no obstante, aquí se logra dar cuenta que quieren ir más allá de las reglas, combinando diversos estilos y ellos dejan que puedas disfrutarlo, dado a que se da su tiempo, no es corto la intro es más bien el inicio de una canción épica. De forma muy bien combinada la banda entra con una potencia majestuosa, se siente como una tormenta de arena, filosa y a su vez muy poderosa.


Posterior a ello se puede apreciar un juego de voces muy diversos por parte de Zoe, por una parte, es delicada y mágica, pero por otro lado unos guturales bajos y diabólicos, no es el típico gutural alto casí como un grito que puedes ver en cualquier otra banda. Aqui es casi como una amenaza que se encuentra asechando en las arenas, esto en verdad es un punto más que suficiente y original por parte de la cantante y se agradece. Además, la participación del guitarrista Marek Smerda es un plus particular dado a que se logra divisar como forma ambiente con distintos tonos, siendo un acompañante importante en la canción.

Existe otro punto importante, como los diversos arreglos corales, sinfónicos y de campanas van apareciendo en momentos precisos de la canción, entran en momentos acertados y bien logrados, se nota el profesionalismo de que aquello no solo sea un detalle, sino más bien un “instrumento” importante en Catalyst Crime.


No puedo esperar a que otras maravillas me encontrare en el nuevo álbum a lanzarse pronto en este año, además que hermosa portada de Ã¡bum han creado, de verdad Catalyst Crime se encuentran todos y todas preparadas para seguir aportando a la escena musical.

Catalyst Crime presents a new episode in its young career, a cinematic, dark, and complex song. We are talking about the song (which gives its name to their new album) ACQUIRED IMMUNITY, a 5:28-minute piece that is a sonic journey with incredible details.  

The song begins with an orchestral arrangement and                  wellcrafted oriental touches. The band had previously presented arrangements like this on their   first album, but here they show that they want to go beyond the rules, combining different     styles and letting you enjoy it, given that they take their time. The intro is not short; rather,   it is the beginning of an epic song. The band enters with majestic power, feeling like a      sandstorm, sharp and yet very powerful. 


 After that, you can appreciate a very diverse range of vocals from Zoe. On the one hand, she is delicate and magical, but on the other, she has low, diabolical growls that are not the typical    high-pitched screams you hear in other bands. Here, it is almost like a threat lurking in the sands, which is truly a more than sufficient and original touch on the part of the singer, and one that is much appreciated. In addition, the participation of guitarist Marek Smerda is a particular plus,as he manages to create an ambient atmosphere with different tones, making him an important   accompanist in the song. 

There is another important point, as the various choral, symphonic, and bell arrangements appear at precise moments in the song, entering at the right times and well executed. You can see the professionalism that this is not just a detail, but rather an   important “instrument” in Catalyst Crime. 

I can't wait to discover other wonders in the new album to be released later this year. What a beautiful album cover they've created! Catalyst Crime are truly ready to continue contributing  to the music scene.
