Catalyst Crime esta de vuelta, luego de su extraordinario álbum homónimo, vuelven en una nueva era junto con la canción Cursebreaker lanzada sorpresivamente ayer el dÃa 04 de octubre y en Collector of Dark Sounds, detallaremos lo increÃble de esta pieza.
Inicia con el piano, algo que ya
es parte de la caracterÃstica de la banda, se puede dar cuenta que mantienen la
misma lÃnea de su antecesor trabajo, agradeciendo aquello por ser fieles a su
sonido. Zoe entra en escena con arreglos orquestales de fondo y la banda acompañando
en su momento. El coro es pegadizo, se queda en tu mente, además el tipo de voz
de la cantante es sereno, se da cuenta de un crecimiento de su capacidad vocal.
El talento de China en la
guitarra es increÃble, entrega diversas armonÃas y es quien da el momento dramático
de la canción, además los otros miembros de la banda (que agradezco que todos aún
estén en la banda, sin tener ningún cambio) enriquecen la atmosfera cinematográfica.
Un punto totalmente a destacar es
que ellos hacen algo distinto, dado a que la mayorÃa de las otras bandas después
del solo de guitarra vuelven al coro, aquà no es totalmente diferente. La banda
entera toma un tono totalmente nuevo, suena más potente, siendo un punto extra
a la creatividad de la canción.
La canción finaliza entregando todo
de si, un cierre perfecto en donde todos los elementos explotan para poner
punto final a una canción fresca y diversa.
Agradezco que Catalyst Crime este
nuevamente ante nosotros, su música es importante para el género y estoy seguro
que esta nueva era estará llena de momentos increÃbles. No olviden ver el videoclip
de la canción, que presenta un mensaje importante.

Catalyst Crime is back. Following their extraordinary self-titled album, they return in a new era with the song Cursebreaker, released unexpectedly yesterday, October 4. In Collector of Dark Sounds, we will detail what makes this piece so incredible.
It starts with the piano, something that is already part of the band's signature sound, and you can tell that they are staying true to their previous work, which is great because they are staying faithful to their sound. Zoe enters the scene with orchestral arrangements in the background and the band accompanying her at the right moment. The chorus is catchy and sticks in your mind, and the singer's voice is serene, showing a growth in her vocal ability.
China's talent on the guitar is incredible, delivering diverse harmonies and providing the dramatic moment of the song. In addition, the other members of the band (whom I am grateful are all still in the band, with no changes) enrich the cinematic atmosphere.
One thing that really stands out is that they do something different, given that most other bands return to the chorus after the guitar solo, but here it's totally different. The whole band takes on a whole new tone, sounding more powerful, which is an added bonus to the song's creativity.
The song ends by giving it their all, a perfect ending where all the elements explode to put an end to a fresh and diverse song.
